Let's take you with us on a tour of one of the most important temples in Egypt and the world, where you will see the greatest monuments and the oldest and most luxurious inscriptions and historical monuments.( Abu simple Temple ) .. your guide will take you in a private car at (6 am ) to reach that huge luxurious temple , there you will see a room that includes 4 statues of the god Ra Hor my sister, the god Amun Ra, the god Ptah and King Ramses II as it was believed in ancient times in the era of the Pharaohs in addition to A group of small rooms as storage for the Abu Simbel temple. You will also see Pharaonic inscriptions of a cow symbolizing Hathor, and a statue of King Ramses II carved in the western wall.( The tour takes 12 hours )

We did a couple of trips with White Sands in Upper Egypt (in addition to the highly recommended Gizeh/Saqqara&Dashur day trip and all airport transfers), and had a fabulous time in the south! It is really worth it to travel beyond Luxor, and to see Aswan and especially Abu Simbel. Abu Simbel is extremely impressive, so if you are wondering whether it is worth the time and money to do the additional trip from Aswan, just do it!! The scenery at the lake is beautiful, and although it is close to Sudan, it is very safe. Instead of a Nile Cruise, we had a transfer from Luxor to Aswan by car, visiting the same sights as with a cruise - but individually, not with the crowds from a big ship. As during our entire stay, the drivers of the White Sands team were very good, friendly, and reliable, and the guides - whether they were English or German speaking - were very knowledgeable, and flexible (which was important because we travelled with our 5 year old son, who also enjoyed our stay in Egypt a lot, but sometimes had different interests than adults admiring archaeological sites...). We didn't book our tours in Luxor with White Sands, and we really regretted it afterwards, because our guide there was less professional, asking for additional money, and pushing us to go to additional places (restaurants, shops, shows...) we were not interested in. So, next time we come to Egypt, we will book all trips with White Sands - and there are so much amazing sights to see that we will come back for sure. Sonja.
